We are seeking a dependable and organized Class A truck driver to deliver full and empty containers to and from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Driver must possess a great deal of mental stamina to consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries while abiding by all safety regulations. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities & Duties
· Operate company trucks safely and efficiently to and from the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles
· Communicate regularly and effectively with dispatch on the delivery schedule, routing, trip updates, arrival/departure, and hours of service
· Comply with the Hours of Service regulations
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues for repair
· Provide excellent service to customers; representing the company well through all interactions from the Port to the customer
· Keep trucks clean and well maintained
· Comply with all DOT, CHP, Company policies, and other applicable governing agency regulations
· Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, minimum three years of truck driving experience
· Must be at least 25 years of age
· Valid TWIC card or the ability to get one upon start
· Must pass DOT drug test
· Availability to work a flexible schedule that’s up to 12-14 hours a day
· Operate a tractor-trailer combination up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather
· Must have a clean driving record
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
· Able to sit for extended periods of time and safely operate heavy equipment
· Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
